MEET STEFANIE
Meet Stefanie, the creative mind behind Twig + Timber Interiors. Creative spirit + entrepreneurship come naturally to Stefanie, having been raised by parents who have always embraced their inner Martha Stewart and Tim "The Tool Man" Taylor. Growing up on a hobby farm where endless creativity was always in the works, and entrepreneurial spirits running high, it was inevitable Stefanie would eventually start her own business of sorts.
When an opportunity to start freelancing arose 20 years ago during her third year of being in the Interior Design program at Dawson College, she jumped in and never looked back! With the natural ability to see potential within a space, a drive to take charge + the ability to execute, starting her own Interior Design studio only seemed fitting. Having worked in the hospitality industry for many years, Stefanie understands how the customer service experience is essential to the success of a business, and therefore puts emphasis on this aspect to deliver an elevated experience to her clients.
On weekends, Stefanie loves spending time with her husband and 7 year old daughter going out exploring or simply being a homebody of sorts. You can often find her making a mess in the kitchen whipping up a mean dessert, spending way too much money pretending to have a green-thumb, or walking around with a measuring tape in-hand making her better-half just a little nervous… Oh- and no worries, her family is always involved in one way or another.. cake anyone?
" Stefanie renovated our bedroom, kitchen and solarium. The first project was our bedroom [..] She noticed I liked bright, airy rooms and set about creating this in our bedroom within a greater than 200 year old stone house and succeeded more than 100% [..] It is bright, airy and gorgeous down to the last detail [..] We would never of come up with that design on our own, it was ingenious! We were so pleased with our bedroom we had her improve the functionality and design of our kitchen and solarium. Both are spectacularly beautiful spaces now, as well as functional [..] Prior to her redesigning our solarium we hardly used it [..] However, since (her redesign) we live in this room. We have been amazed, and grateful, at how a few changes made the difference in our use of this room. Again, Stefanie created a design we would never have conceived. She is not only an excellent designer but a gifted one. "
